Insufficient curing and slight stickiness can easily lead to insufficient peel strength of the
Stretch Film. Only by solving this problem can the peel strength of the stretch film be further guaranteed. How to solve it,the stretch film manufacturer Yalan Packaging, let you first understand the reasons.
1. The wrong ratio of the binder is generally caused by a weighing error. For this, the weighing equipment needs to be calibrated, and the mixing should be carried out in the correct way to avoid local uneven mixing.
2. Improper storage of the adhesive, and the curing agent is not completely sealed, causing it to react with air and moisture. In this case, the sealing condition of the stretch film adhesive is mainly to be checked.
3. The purity of the thinner is not high, and it contains excessive moisture. The alcohol makes the proportion of the binder out of adjustment. At this time, it is necessary to check the moisture content of the thinner regularly.
4. The alcohol component of the alcohol-soluble ink or ink thinner is not dried, and there are more residues that cause the curing agent to react and cause stickiness. Generally speaking, alcohol-soluble adhesives should be used for alcohol-soluble inks, and the solvent ratio in the production of stretched films should not be suitable for alcohol.
5. The stretched film has a lot of residual solvent, and the solvent is wrapped in the adhesive, which hinders curing. Always check whether the intake and exhaust air of the drying system is normal. When the amount of glue is large, control the compounding speed.
6. Too much adhesive coating and too large roll diameter of the stretched film will cause the adhesive to harden slowly.
7. The aging temperature of the stretched film is too low, the curing is slow, and the crosslinking is insufficient. It is necessary to select an appropriate curing temperature, extend the curing time, and use a fast-curing adhesive if necessary.
8. The influence of substrate additives in the stretched film, such as the additives in PVDC can delay and prevent the cross-linking and curing of the adhesive. For these cases, carefully analyze the molecular structure and appropriately increase the amount of curing agent used.
