Packing belts are divided into semi-automatic packing belts and fully automatic packing belts. Semi-automatic Strapping is mainly used on semi-automatic machines, and the material requirements are not high. Generally, the commonly used Pp Strapping straps are enough; automatic strapping is the kind with a gantry frame on the full-automatic strapping machine, and the automatic machine pairs the strapping straps. The requirements are relatively high, and only lightweight strapping and transparent strapping can be used.

Plastic Strapping methods usually have three methods: heat fusion method, clamping method, and buckle method. It can also be simply divided into manual strapping and mechanical strapping. Manual strapping mainly requires ordinary dimensional accuracy and ordinary strength. It can be produced from waste plastics and add some fillers in an appropriate amount. The deflection can also be slightly higher, the size is usually 1 to 1.3 mm thick, and the width is about 15 to 25 mm. The clamping method and the buckle method are commonly used for connection.

The plastic raw materials used to produce packing belts are often recommended: PP, HDPE, PVC, PET and nylon, etc. Currently, most of the factory uses PP polypropylene resin. The dosage is more than 90%.
