What is
Foam Tape? One or both sides of the foam tape are made of EVA or PE foam, coated with solvent-based (or hot melt) pressure-sensitive adhesive, and then made of paperless paper; the foam tape has the function of sealing and damping.
Foam tape has excellent sealing properties and can avoid gas release and atomization. It has excellent resistance to compression deformation, that is, elasticity and durability, which can ensure long-term shock protection for accessories. Can be used in various temperature ranges. You can use anything from minus Celsius to Celsius, and it is flame-retardant, does not contain harmful and toxic substances, does not leave or pollute the equipment, and does not corrode metals.
The surface of the foam tape has excellent wettability, easy to bond, easy to manufacture and easy to cut. Maintaining viscosity for a long time, strong peeling force, strong initial viscosity, good weather resistance, and has the advantages of waterproof, solvent resistance, high temperature resistance, and good adhesion on curved surfaces.
In our daily use, we need to pay attention to the following points:
1. Before pasting, please clean the dirt and oil stains on the surface of the object and keep it dry (do not paste on rainy and rainy days). If it is used to stick a mirror, it is recommended to use alcohol to clean the surface;
2. The working temperature should not be lower than 10℃ during pasting; otherwise, the tape and pasting surface can be heated by a hair dryer;
3. The pressure-sensitive tape performs best within 24 hours after pasting (when pasting, the tape should be as close as possible), so when pasting a vertical bearing object such as a mirror, when both sides are stuck, first flatten it for 24 hours. If this condition is not available, the bearing object should be supported within 24 hours of vertical adhesion.
