Why your BOPP packing tape could not stick on the carton ?

When sealing the carton by BOPP Packing Tape, after sometime, the carton come open again, why ? Because, may be the shear (or holding hour) of tape is not good enough. How to test the holding power of tape ?

1.Do clean the S.S. Plate (2 plates).
2.To cut a tape 25 * 70 mm
3.To stick the tape on 2 plates.

4.To use a 2 kg standard roller, rolling 3 times, to-fro.

5.Idle for 20 minutes.
6.To hand the S.S. Plate on tester, also the weight 1 kg at bottom hole.
7.After sometime, the weight will fall down and stop the timer, then record the hours.
8.Popularly the holding power of BOPP packing tape should be 24 hours plus.

Definitely, there are some other reasons that will let the carton come open too, such as: paper board did not slot properly, oily (wax) on paper surface and dirt at warehouse or/and working area, etc. Should not always complain the quality on our BOPP packing tape.
